Big Update Time...

Time for a bit update of the blog (see below), haven't had one in yonkers.

Fireworks

It's that time of year again. To be honest I prefer just watching the fireworks rather than trying to capture them on camera. But did reel off a couple of pics. Third photo is from last year taken with my old (now stolen) Canon Powershot G6.

Management Today

Management Today has quite a large budget for commisssioned photography so I'm told, so I tried to do a decent job on these portraits. Sometimes it seems you can waste so much time trying to create elaborate light set-ups. Often a simple bounce flash is the best option, or even better natural light. David Evans is the MD of Grass Roots Group, and John Hearne head of catering at Tapenade.

Olly from Way to Blue

Some pictures of the MD of digital media company Way to Blue for PR Week. These were taken at Cargo, same place I shot my man Lethal Bizzle a few months back.

Chelsea and Kensington Council

Feels like these guys call every day with something they want shooting. Had a fun night out with the police on patrol on Halloween. Even got some abuse from a couple of teenage girls high on solvent. I guess I was ramming a camera paparazzi style in their face. Other bits and pieces include... Trick or treating with Cllr Warwick Lightfoot around council estates, a visit to Chelsea sports centre with Cllr Paget Brown (what a dude), the Mayor of Chelsea lighting a bonfire on Guy Fawkes night, and kids at a local school on International Walk to School Day...or something.

Public sector events

I'm going to be doing some regular work for these guys. Basically there's an event every fortnight at the Barbican centre for the various people involved in the public sector. Last week it was Waste Management. No Tony Soprano lookalikes unfortunately.

King's College work

A few things I've done recently for KCL. Some straight forward headshots of the PR staff members, a visit from Ed Balls, secretary for education at the Prospect think tank awards, and an King's lecturer listening in on his audio tour of the Thames along South Bank.

South London Press

Some recent portrait work done for the South London Press. Not really news I know but I'd like to stay involved with the editorial stuff. Reminds me of the Good ol' London Student days.
