35mm Home Development
Here is a slideshow showing the process I go through to develop 35mm B&W film at home. It's not ideal of course...would love to set up my own darkroom when I have the space...but I've never had a problem using the darkbag. I took this roll from my rangefinder. I knew the photos were slightly underexposed so I decided to push the development a little and experiment, and as a result got some quite nice contrast across the tones. It takes time of course but it's also fun and exciting. I've also included a couple of scans here.

Softbox
Sorry not a lot of blogging at the moment as I've been pulling some projects together.
I recently purchased the Lastolite Octa Softbox, the largest softbox I own at 90x90cm across. I've been looking for a truly portable large softbox for a while now and it fits the bill perfectly. Takes roughly 10mins to set up mind so you have to factor that into the shoot. It produces lovely diffused light, and is nicely balanced. You can also shoot speedlights through it with a hotshoe attachment. Travelling around London on public transport with all your gear means you need these sort of portable lighting solutions.
