It's really tough trying to manage six people in a photo. Just remembering names is difficult enough, but to squeeze them all in the frame and get the lighting right is a real challenge. I really could have down with extra light source and reflector. Hmmm... Nice bunch of guys though. This will go with an interview for Total Spec.

I've been meaning to grab some photos of these guys for a while. At first I wasn't sure about the whole 'body/space' thing, but since I've gotten used to them they have become part of the landscape.

Athlete

Athlete shot for Total Spec. Was a pity, I was really starting to get into the photos but they had to leave early to record a B-side. Kind of frustrating, I had loads of ideas. But I guess one has to learn to deal with time restrictions.

Rarekind Graffiti

David Samuels has the only graffiti art shop in the UK. He set it up a few years ago in Brighton and appeared on Channel 4's 'Faking it', where he taught a toff how to be an urban artist. The interview was for a 'let's go see' piece in Total Spec.

Knitting clubs

Another feature for Itchy, this time it's all about the knitting. I couldn't really get into it myself. I don't think I have the finger dexterity.

Fun-sized Food

For the Itchy magazine, a series of photos to go with the 'fun-sized food' feature. Basically a couple of master-chefs cooking up some miniature versions of favourite dishes, ranging form gourmet burgers and fish and chips, to rabbit shepherds pie and prawn cocktail salads. My personal fave was the baby fry-up.

British Board of Film Classification

These pictures were taken inside the HQ of the BBFC just off Soho Square for a Total Spec article. Being inside the projection room was a lot of fun, seeing all the equipment they use there. It's an interesting job for the people who work there, but the amount of porn they must get through...
